Gosh its been so long since I finally found the peace of mind to be able to write in this diary.
All the pups have grown so well and have finally all an excellent permanent homes.
Spot the puppy is walking as straight as an arrow and has the most energy you can imagine. Her name now is Tiba, really nice name with a funny story.
A gril friend and her boyfriend, who are now the owners of Tiba, were looking for a name for this little girl. Most names they couldn’t agree on and the ones they liked I didn’t and they were nice enough to not upset me LOL. By chance we spoke to a college that had just adopted a most adorable baby and I asked what they had named her and she answered that it was Tiba. Well Saskia (Tiba the dogs owner) and I looked at each other and whispered what a nice name it was. Saskia went home, said this name to her boyfriend and he also loved the name, and so it came that Tiba is called Tiba.
It sounds so exotic don’t you think? We asked the mother of the baby what it meant and this was another story. She read the name Tiba on a title roll of a program. So she sent an email to the program makers who sent emails to producers who sent emails to… well anyway finally they contacted the original Tiba. The original Tiba had often heard from others that they thought her name was so exotic and was often asked what it meant and she would laugh and explain that one of her grandmothers was called Tina and the other grandma was called Barbara…. Need I say more ROFL.
Boxer is now called Gio. He is having the time of his life with a new giant schnauzer brother and a Turkish livestock grading dog sister. Santos the schnauzer and Gio are wonderful playmates and Canim the Turkish lady is taking her time in letting Gio do his Lagotto charming and become a part of her heart. He’ll win in the end…
Luna is just as mad as her blond sister Tiba. I cant believe what bundles of energy these pups are. I think that Luna has the same mountain goat ability as Zanna.
Youri Im very ashamed to say I haven’t seen again yet. When we finally made a date to walk together the Gods surprised me with another obstacle that prevented the meeting…. Writing this is a good reminder for me that I must get my act together and ring Youri’s owner and make a date again. Surly it must be possible sometime…
Yno is yet another bundle of energy that has trained his owners well Hahaha. He is a cleaver little sod that needs a firmer hand than his looks would give to suspect. He has such a nice head and eyes to die for.
Tieka has indeed got her coat growing back, just like the doctors said would happen after her hormones got back to normal. But I was worried for a while. When she sees her pups for walks she still feels the need to tell these pups who is mum and requires the respect she thinks she earns. She really gets them smartened up.
Zanna on the other hand is the biggest “play girl” you have ever seen. She loves seeing the pups and plays so much with them. She genuinely loves the pups and I’m certain she recognizes them each time.
Well that was a quick update on things….
Soon we will be starting dog school again. Zanna will start with agility, I’m sure she’ll be an excellent at it, and Tieka will go on to the advanced class. She missed the last season due to the pups so I wonder how she will do. She has a memory like an elephant so I guess she’ll just get right back to jumping and running as if she has been doing it all along.
