Introducing Floyd!!!

Floyd is Tiba’s new big brother. He is a 3 and a half year old Great Dane and has the nicest character I’ve ever seen.

He acts like a big puppy, loving life and loving even more to tease other dogs. His biggest pleasure is rushing up to Lagotti, scaring them half to death and jumping over them at the very last split second.

Tiba and Tieka both do not accept this behaviour and chase after him barking angrily, hopping on there back legs, front paws in the air, so as to perhaps get to his muzzle and bite him in his lips…. But I must admit I don’t think they ever have achieved this. Floyd thinks this is very funny, but dose have enough sense to respect them for a while…… till he cant control himself anymore and dose it again ha, ha, ha.

To my surprise Zanna doesn’t get mad at him, she just crouches to the ground and hopes she survives the “attack”. I’m sure this behaviour is due to the fact that she has been mated. She is so girly, and acts so silly these days… The old Zanna has for the moment turned in to a submissive scaredy cat. Hormones can be such a drag……

And not to forget Flecha and how he reacted to Floyd. Well Floyds owner and I are so relieved that these two big boys just ignore each other, although sometimes they do a little run together, looking like two overgrown puppies. Very cute!!! I think the more they meet the more they will start to play together and daring each other.

Below is Floyd, on Saskia’s lap that was already taken by Tiba. Tiba, not wanting to give up her pride of place didn’t budge, trusting Saskia to help keep Floyds bum off her head.

And then a close up of this big babies head, cute huh.

Tiba on a boat for the first time in her life. Looks to me she’s a natural sailor.




What I haven’t written to u all is the very sad fact that Tiba’s big brother and sister, 2 irishwolfhounds, both died within a few months of each other.

Gelis and Tuck are both missed very much by their humans, Tiba and the rest of us that had the pleasure to know them.

Time to start with the "tummy" photos... Zanna is perhaps only 11 days pergant.. but u can perhaps see a growing chainge in the weeks to come. Behind Zanna u can see her half sister Luna sitting nicly.




And this photo to show u how Zanna looks after a shave.. The plan is that she will have a nice coat when the puppies are born ;-)

Last week Zanna and Tieka had visitors and they took some lovely photos of them that they kindly gave permission for me to use. Thank u Egbert!!
