When the girls get “mushy food” to eat the Lagotti are much faster eaters than Kiwi. So as soon as Zanna finishes her meal she goes and stands under Kiwis belly and waits...... The moment Kiwi leaves her bowl Zanna is in there finishing off any leftovers.

Greedy Zanna already licking her chops at the thought of what she is about to clean up.

Pffff Kiwi is such a slow eater…. “hurry up!”

Happy new year everyone!

Its a bit late but I haven't had a computer for the last few weeks.

In that time I also had a holiday with my sister and NZ family in Italy. We were so lucky that the sky resort (Livigno) were we where had plenty of snow so the skiers had plenty to keep them busy. And the non-skiers had just as much fun because Livigno has plenty of shops and restaurants to keep anyone occupied.
Some of us went to Sint Moritz for a day, it was only an hours drive away. Our expectations were a lot higher than what we found. The shopping wasn't great at all and we even laughingly pondered the thought of organizing our own excursions the other way around, from Sint Moritz to Livigno for a much better skiing and shopping experience.

Another day I experienced husky mushing. It was a great feeling “driving” 4 huskies through the mountains. Of coarse the dogs knew the way so we as “drivers” only had to concentrate on staying standing on the slee, keeping the slee on the track (rather than falling off the mountain) and keeping distance between the other teams so the dogs couldnt get to each other and pick fights. But it sure gave me a taste how it feels and if I had the time and the money I would love to expand on such a cool “hobby”

For the week I was in Italy my 4 girls were spread over 3 great friends homes so they had a nice break too.

It was so strange to just go to bed without first having to go into the cold for the last walk with the girls. It was kind of nice for a while but I'm pleased to have the girls back and that things are back to "normal".

On a totally different subject I found this quite an interesting site to share with you.
